Hi everyone, this is my very first blog post going onto my new website, I cannot tell you how excited I am that I am here, and that you are here.
Thank you for stopping by.
First of all I have to thank Cara Waterson who actually walked me through the jungle of website and design, she is the mastermind behind the scenes and I could not, would not have gotten this far without her help. Thank you Cara from one photographer to another…love ya.
I have always loved photography, since I owned my first camera when my children were born almost 30 years ago, I always dreamed of becoming a famous photographer. Hehehe well I am not famous or anything like that, but I have learned a lot since I picked it back up almost two years ago with the birth of my first grandson Jace Alexander. I got started after seeing a newborn image come across Facebook, I was smitten, I am sure the image that got my attention came from none other than Robin Long the Storyteller from Salem Oregon.
I am a self-taught photographer but learn and continue to learn daily, I am thankful for this gift that has been given to me, and I am honored and thrilled that moms and dads have entrusted me to capture these fleeting moments, I cannot stress how important it is to capture these moments while your newborn is still young, sleepy and pliable.
I work from my home and have transformed a bedroom into a natural light studio, I use a Nikon D7000 and many different lens to create different beautiful images
as well as capture the little itty bitty parts with a macro lens.
I hope you stay a while and grow with me, as my daughter in law would say, every session I do I keep getting better and better, I am looking forward to the next session and all the ones after that as well.
I am so looking forward to meeting the newest member of the family another grand-daughter is due any day now, that makes three grand babies all in under two years
meet my son Mathew and my grand-son Jace taken almost two years ago Jace was only 4 days new
hugs
